Quick update, Then... Break Time!

My Artistic and Spiritual Path Continues.

Hello!

No long form newsletter today but I wanted to firstly come on and say thank you for signing up to my newsletter and following along. I’m so happy I could share my words with you each weak, and you’ve offered me the trust to slide into your email inbox with hopefully relevant and valuable information! As you know I’ve been on a spiritual and artistic journey, and I feel like today’s a great day to update you in my progress and how it’s being achieved and where I’m currently at.

Firstly I have to express a large catalyst in my open vulnerable and empathetic heart. The show I’m currently in has been one of the most fulfilling I’ve ever been apart of. The talent of the cast alongside the message of Sophie Treadwell’s Machinal and paired with The Sound Company’s community “3rd act” has offered me more insight into my own mission when it comes to being an artist. So many emotions that I can’t put into words, but I will say there was no better time for The Sound Company to come into my life than right now. To that, I’m thankful.

Throughout the process I’ve been finding a lot more tools and utilities to create a more freeing performance. I want to find some time to talk about the importance of intimacy coordinators in all acts of intimacy on stage and film/tv. It just is NOT as simple as people think it is. Having the freedom of safety to express with your partner under strict boundaries and zones and constant feedback is not one I will ever go without from now on.

We’ve just finished out first week of performances and the turnout has been wonderful. I really wish Madlabs held more seats but I really want to continue filling them up each night. So if you haven’t gotten the chance yet, I would love to formally invite you to the show! Tickets HERE

This show is challenging, but approachable, intimate, but dangerous, comedic, but dark. At the very end we will guide you through a community led discussion pertaining to topics about the show. We want you to leave feeling equipped with the tools to go out into the world and become a civic agent in your own personal unique way, fighting with the skills that you have.

And if you have seen the show and are feeling generous, we are so close to reaching our GoFundMe goal for the show. Reaching their goal assists in my own pay for the work that I’ve done, but genuinely, more importantly, helps The Sound Company continue to create and produce topical and informative pieces to the public. That’s really all I have for right now, I need to stop myself from writing too much, I’m trying to take a break over here! It’s been a solid 3-4 weeks of non stop motion for me and lot’s of computer work, so I’ll be off in the woods somewhere no one can find me and reading some books. I’ll be coming back to you after the show is over!

Much love today and everyday
